OCI DB Systems and AWS RDS
This session looks at the core technical differences in the deployment of Oracle databases in the AWS and OCI PaaS offerings. We focus not such much on the database itself but how it fits into the two Cloud landscapes and what are the key differences. This isn’t a ‘which one is a best’; we look at how they differ from a technical perspective.
Working with Autonomous Database
This session looks at how DBAs can work with Autonomous Database from provisioning to loading data. It will start with how Autonomous fits within the OCI infrastructure and then move into the details of moving; loading and refreshing data into ADW. Delegates will gain from this session a better understanding of how to work with Autonomous and it’s core differences from existing on-premises and PaaS Cloud services.
